تيفلون PTFE (Teflon®)

logoPTFE is a fluoropolymer, normally considered a thermoplastic material, but with chemical-physical features that make specific processing techniques essential. Owing to its low friction, it is used for applications where sliding action of parts is needed: plain bearings, gears, slide plates, etc. In these applications, it performs significantly better than nylon and acetal; we supply just virgin first quality grades PTFE pure and filled raw materials from main worldwide producers of stock shapes (tubes, rods, sheets and skived tapes) other grades upon request.

Together our partners in Europe we can develops a range of standard and specific products requested by the Customer. These include:PTFE semi-finished and finished products. Slipper rings and Fluor-S tapes for hydraulic and pneumatic PTFE piston and guide rings: spring energized seals Injection moulding of Technopolymers (PEEK™, FEP, PFA, PCTFE, PUR etc...) Moulds designing and manufacturing FEP, PFA, PVDF, PEEKTM lining of valves and pump bodies Valve seats

PTFE is a very useful material because it has a unique combination of properties. PTFE is chemically inert, weatherable, excellent electrical insulation, high temperature resistance, a low coefficient of friction and non-adhesive properties. Shrinkable tubing is also used as roll covers and to protect electrical parts or components. PTFE can also be skived or extruded into tapes and films that can be used for seals and gasket materials. Teflon® is a familiar trade name for polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) made by DuPont.

بولياميد / نايلون Polyamide (PA) / Nylons

PA (Polyamide) is a semi-crystalline polymer.
There are two types: those made of one basic material (e.g. PA 6) and those made of two basic materials (e.g. PA 66). They can occur both naturally (e.g. wool and silk) and synthetically (e.g. nylon).
Polyamides have excellent mechanical properties and can be either hard and tough or soft and flexible. They absorb moisture and have excellent slide and wear characteristics. Polyamides are commonly used in the textile and automotive industry.

Properties
- High mechanical strength
- Stiffness
- Thermal stability
- Tough at low temperatures
- Excellent resistance to chemicals
- Features a favourable sliding friction behaviour
- Permits problem-free processing

Physical Properties
- Tensile Strength 90 - 185 N/mm²
- Notched Impact Strength 5.0 - 13 Kj/m²
- Thermal Coefficient of expansion 90 - 20/70 x 10-6
- Max Cont Use Temp 150 - 185 oC
- Density 1.13 - 1.35/1.41 g/cm3

Applications
Polyamides are used in the automotive industry for:
     - Oil pan
     - Transmission cross beams
     - Air intake manifolds
     - Crash-active engine covers

In the electric/electronics industry they are used for:
    - Photovoltaic connectors
    - Cordless hammer drills
    - Control modules for washing machines
    - Circuit breakers
    - Dowels

Nylon fibres are used in textiles, fishing line and carpets. Nylon films is used for food packaging, offering toughness and low gas permeability, and coupled with its temperature resistance, for boil-in-the-bag food packaging.

Moulding and extrusion compounds find many applications as replacements for metal parts, for instance in car engine components. Intake manifolds in nylon are tough, corrosion resistant, lighter and cheaper than aluminium (once tooling costs are covered) and offer better air flow due to a smooth internal bore instead of a rough cast one. Its self-lubricating properties make it useful for gears and bearings.Electrical insulation, corrosion resistance and toughness make nylon a good choice for high load parts in electrical applications as insulators, switch housings and the ubiquitous cable ties. Another major application is for power tool housings.
